As a Special Needs Teacher at our upper secondary school, you work with pedagogy, relationship building, and systematic student health services. You are a key person who identifies students' reading and writing difficulties, plans targeted interventions, and follows up on results – always with the student at the center.

About the role:

You work individually with students who need individual support, in smaller groups, and in whole classes in close collaboration with teaching teachers.

You are part of the school's student health team and collaborate closely with subject teachers, mentors, study and career counselors, and guardians to create cohesive support structures around each student.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pedagogical assessments and propose appropriate interventions/measures
• Implement interventions within the framework of special support
• Implement interventions at the group level
• Establish, follow up on, and revise action plans
• Actively participate in the student health team's work and contribute special pedagogical competence
• Supervise and consult colleagues on special pedagogical issues and accessible learning environments
• Collaborate with external actors such as speech therapists, habilitation services, and social services as needed
• Work systematically with follow-up and documentation according to the Education Act and the Swedish National Curriculum for Upper Secondary School (Lgr22)

We are looking for you who:

• Have a degree and authorization as a Special Needs Teacher
• Are qualified in a social science subject and/or Swedish/English
• Have competence in reading and writing development, or other relevant education that we assess as equivalent
• Experience with the upper secondary school's mission is meritorious

As a person, you have the ability to smoothly switch between the different contexts of the role, which is central to the position.

About the position:

The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment. Probation may apply. Start date according to agreement.
