Sparsörskolan is a harmonious school consisting of 295 students in grades preschool class to grade 6. The school works with knowledge and security at its core and is located in a beautiful natural setting in the Sparsör area, close to both lake and forest. At Sparsörskolan, dedicated staff with high competence work together successfully for the benefit of the students. In addition to pedagogical staff, the school also has a student health team with all competencies represented. A local bus takes you to the edge of the schoolyard where you have Slättäng (students F-3) and Kil (students grades 4-6) on either side of the road. Together, these two units make up Sparsörskolan.

The responsibilities involve teaching in close collaboration with experienced and certified colleagues who also teach in the lower primary school grades. You will be part of the lower primary school work team, working together with shared goals in focus. Together with colleagues, you will plan, implement, evaluate, and follow up on teaching. We work with collegial learning and collaboration throughout the school, where there is an opportunity to develop both at the individual and group level, within and between subjects. There is also close collaboration with the leisure time center activities. Support in the work is provided by student health services and school management. The assignment includes standard teacher duties.

You want to be involved in developing our operations and are a certified teacher with broad eligibility for grades 1-3.

We are looking for you who show good leadership qualities with the ability to create security and order in the classroom. We place great value on your engagement and pedagogical competence. We have high and positive expectations for our students, and all teaching is based on current regulatory documents and contemporary research. It is important that you find working with children stimulating and have the ability to see the students from a holistic perspective. You are flexible, creative, structured, and enjoy challenges. Having good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues is a must for this position, as is the ability to plan towards long-term goals, be able to follow up and analyze operations, and see opportunities. You feel secure in your leadership, actively work with boundary setting, and are sensitive to the students' needs. You enjoy working with students at school and are passionate about the subjects you teach.
