About the Workplace

Ljungbyhedsskolan is located approximately 12 km from the center of Klippan in a beautiful natural area with the forest and the Rönneå river as nearest neighbors. We are an F-9 school (grades 1-9) with approximately 370 students in total, including an after-school center for about 100 students. Responsibilities

As a teacher in grades 4-6 at Ljungbyhedsskolan, you have an important and developmental role where you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality teaching that stimulates students' curiosity and understanding of the world around them. You translate theory into practice and adapt your pedagogy so that it is understandable, accessible, and engaging for the students. The role includes mentorship, where you support students' knowledge-based and personal development through secure, clear, and relationship-building leadership. You help us build a non-hierarchical and cohesive work team where collaboration, collegial exchange, and a shared commitment to students' goal achievement and well-being are at the center.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher for grades 4-9, preferably with qualifications in Natural Sciences (NO), and have a good ability to translate curriculum goals into clear and engaging teaching. You are a secure role model with strong, relationship-building leadership in the classroom, and you have a good understanding of adolescent development. The role requires that you have strong pedagogical and didactic skills and are skilled at adapting your teaching to meet each student's unique prerequisites and needs. Furthermore, you are a team player with good collaboration skills who values collegial exchange. You communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish to professionally collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians, and you are proficient in digital technology.

Duration: Permanent, start date: 2025-08-13 or according to agreement.
