Job Responsibilities

Mother Tongue Teacher in Kurdish (Kurmanji). You are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing students' knowledge based on the national curriculum. The teaching takes place in small groups.

The position is 10–15% of a full-time role, distributed over 1 day per week. (15% if the day is scheduled on Thursdays, otherwise 10%.)

Qualifications

You have Kurdish as your mother tongue. You have good proficiency in Swedish. Pedagogical experience and experience working with children are desirable. You should be familiar with the steering documents for primary school. Previous experience in similar roles is an advantage. Schedule to be agreed upon.

As a person, you are proactive and self-initiating. It is also important that you are structured and relationship-building. To succeed in this role, you must also have good collaboration skills and a quality-conscious mindset. Mother tongue instruction takes place after school hours in mixed-age groups at currently two F–6 schools in central Tomelilla. It is an advantage if you have a driver's license and access to your own car.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date: To be agreed upon.
