About Henriksdalskolan

Today, Henriksdalskolan is a grades F-6 school under construction, operating in large, beautiful new premises in Höllviken. During the autumn break of 2025, we moved into a completely newly built school. With the start of each new school year, a new group of six-year-olds begins in pre-school class, and the operation will be a fully developed grades F-9 school by 2028. At the start of school in August, we will be a grades F-7 school with approximately 265 students.

Job Responsibilities

We want you to help create the best school. Together with your colleagues, you will stimulate students' development and learning by offering them a meaningful school day. We are looking for a teacher who wants to help develop and build the school's pedagogical activities. We work from a positive expectation of students and colleagues, and our value words – joy, courage, credibility, and care – permeate both our attitude and our pedagogical work. We place great emphasis on collaboration, pedagogical discussions, and collegial learning.

As a teacher with us, you plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching based on the compulsory school curriculum and governing documents. The position includes mentorship.

You work closely with several work teams and grade teams, which provides good opportunities for collegial learning and collaboration with skilled and engaged educators. Together, we take responsibility for creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students feel seen, included, and given the conditions to develop as much as possible.

Qualifications

You are a certified compulsory school teacher for grades 1-7 with broad eligibility. Preferably Swedish, English, Social Studies (SO), and Natural Sciences (NO). You are a responsible and engaged educator who works with clarity, security, and good relationships with students. You always have the student's best interest in focus, and your perspective is characterized by respect for the individual and their needs and conditions.

We assume that you have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work. You have an approach that keeps the focus on goal achievement through follow-up and analysis, and you develop your teaching with support from research. We see that you are creative, flexible, easy to collaborate with, and have a pleasant and professional attitude towards both educators, students, and guardians.

Since the school is under construction, it is highly meritorious if you have experience in this type of assignment.
