Job Description

As a teacher at Kungshögsskolan, you will be part of a collaborative team with shared responsibility for the students in your grade level. Your main task is to teach mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), and Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language (SvA). Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum and official documents. You will assess and document students' knowledge development and create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. You must be able to adapt teaching to meet each student's needs and prerequisites, collaborate with colleagues in the team, participate in the school's development work, contribute to good relationships with students and guardians, and actively contribute to the school's values-based work and collegial learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach mathematics/NO and preferably Swedish/SvA for grades 4–6 or 1–7. Previous experience as a teacher is considered an asset. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's official documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and practice, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

About the Workplace

Kungshögsskolan is a municipal F–6 school located in Oxie, Malmö, with approximately 550 students. We are a school characterized by a strong focus on relationships, where mutual respect, trust, and good treatment form the basis for both teaching and collaboration.
