We are now looking for an engaged and certified teacher in Science (NO) for grades 7-9. As a teacher with us, you will have a central role in creating good learning environments where every student is given the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential.

The job responsibilities include among other things:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum and students' needs, using varied methods that promote knowledge development.
• Create a safe and structured learning environment through clear leadership in the classroom that contributes to study peace and participation.
• Work with assessment and documentation through both formative and summative assessment of students' knowledge development.
• Be responsible for mentoring, where you follow students' attendance, social development, and academic results, and build good relationships with students and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other staff, participate in the school's quality and development work, and cooperate with external actors if necessary.

As a person, you are relationship-building and collaboration-oriented, and you appreciate developing teaching together with others towards a common goal.

Requirements for the position:

• Certified teacher with eligibility to teach Science (NO) in grades 7-9
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Merits:

• Experience of teaching in grades 7-9 with good results
• Knowledge of cognitive science perspectives on learning
• Experience from teaching in multicultural student groups
