At Brogårdaskolan, one of the municipality's four primary schools, approximately 430 students in grades F-6 attend. Here, a dedicated staff group works with the students' best interests in mind. For the school year 26/27, we are looking for a teacher with a focus on work in the leisure centre who is qualified to teach Home and Consumer Studies.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS

In the role of a teacher in the leisure centre at Brogårdaskolan, your main task will be work in the leisure centre, but this position also includes teaching Home and Consumer Studies for students in grade 6. The teaching in Home and Consumer Studies takes place in half-classes.

By planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both socially and academically. You work to strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-esteem through, for example, play, creative activities, and movement.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on the leisure centre activities based on your choice of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and prerequisites. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

It is important that you create a good relationship with students, guardians, and colleagues, characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach, as well as positive and high expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

I am looking for you who are certified, or alternatively awaiting your teacher certification, as a teacher with a focus on work in the leisure centre. You need to have qualifications in Home and Consumer Studies to be considered for the position.

It is meritorious if you have experience working in a leisure centre and with students in grades F-6, as well as experience teaching Home and Consumer Studies.

You are expected to be well-versed in the school's and leisure centre's steering documents and assignments. You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations in various ways. You have good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals.

Your view of students is characterized by respect and a belief that all children can and want to develop. You have high expectations of the students and work actively to ensure they thrive in school and in the leisure centre.

As a person, you are very engaged, responsible, and responsive. In your leadership, you are secure and clear. The work requires flexibility and that you possess a good ability to plan and prioritize among your tasks. You need to be solution-oriented and have the ability to quickly handle unforeseen situations that may arise in daily operations.
