About Västervångskolan

Västervångskolan is Landskrona's largest primary school with approximately 760 students. The school is located in the northwestern part of the city, and we have a large catchment area, which means we have a diverse student body. Creating conditions for our students to be ready for the next step in life and to believe in their own abilities is our most important task.

Responsibilities

At Västervångskolan, we are now looking for an engaged crafts teacher who wants to help create inspiring teaching where students develop both practical skills and problem-solving abilities. The position is divided into 80% at the primary school and 20% at the adapted school, which means you will meet students with different prerequisites and needs.

As a crafts teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on crafts education in accordance with the curriculum. You create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop creativity, craftsmanship knowledge, and understanding of materials, techniques, and sustainable development.

The role includes, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate crafts education
• Inspire students to develop creativity, problem-solving, and craftsmanship knowledge
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment in the craft room
• Adapt teaching based on students' individual prerequisites and needs
• Assess and document students' knowledge development
• Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and school management regarding students' learning and development

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are engaged, structured, and have a genuine interest in students' learning and development. You have the ability to create inspiring teaching where students feel safe to try, create, and develop. You work independently but also thrive in collaboration with colleagues and other professions in the school. You are pedagogical, clear in your leadership, and have a positive and solution-oriented approach.

We see that you:

• Have a teaching license with eligibility to teach crafts
• Master Swedish well, both in speech and writing
• Are familiar with digital working methods

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience of working in primary school
