One of our leisure-time center teachers will be on parental leave during the 2026/27 school year, so we are looking for a qualified teacher specializing in leisure-time center work for a parental leave substitute position.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of a leisure-time center teacher at Brogårdaskolan, your main task will be working at the leisure-time center. Before the leisure-time center activities begin, you will be in the preschool class together with the teaching teacher in the preschool class.

By planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both socially and academically. You work to strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-esteem through activities such as play, creative work, and movement.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on leisure-time center activities based on your choice of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and prerequisites. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

It is important that you build a good relationship with students, guardians, and colleagues, characterized by mutual respect, a trusting approach, and positive and high expectations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are certified, or will become certified after completing teacher education in June 2026, as a teacher specializing in leisure-time center work. Experience working at a leisure-time center is meritorious.

You are expected to be well-versed in the school's and leisure-time center's governing documents and assignments. You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations in various ways. You have good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals.

Your view of students is characterized by respect and a belief that all children can and want to develop. You have high expectations of the students and work actively to ensure they enjoy school and the leisure-time center.

As a person, you are highly engaged, responsible, and receptive. In your leadership, you are secure and clear. The work requires flexibility and a good ability to plan and prioritize among your tasks. You need to be solution-oriented and have the ability to quickly handle unforeseen situations that may arise in daily operations.

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: Start date 2026-08-13. Start 13/8 or as agreed. End date 2027-06-08.
