Job Responsibilities

As a vocational teacher, you work to ensure that students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their prerequisites, preparing them for their upcoming professional roles. Your work includes planning, teaching, and assessment, as well as evaluating and developing the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's guiding documents.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, placing you in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Trained vocational teacher with eligibility in the relevant subject/area. Alternatively, a completed education in the relevant subject/area at upper secondary or post-secondary level, as assessed by the employer.
• Several years of professional experience from the current industry and very good subject knowledge.
• Experience in using digital tools for communication and pedagogy.
• Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience in teaching and/or supervision.

You understand how students' backgrounds, culture, and previous experiences affect learning and interactions, and you create an inclusive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
