Axonaskolan in Tollarp is a F-9 school with approximately 170 students. Axonaskolan is part of Edukatus Alliance, where we actively work with various networks between our schools to learn from and with each other, generously sharing our knowledge and experiences characterized by collegial exchange and collaboration. We have the courage to constantly challenge ourselves and develop our teaching.

About the role As a Spanish teacher for grades 6–9, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching, as well as contribute to the school's development work. You are responsible for creating an inclusive and motivating teaching environment that is based on the curriculum documents and meets the students' different needs and prerequisites.

Your responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and assess teaching in Spanish for students in grades 6–9
• Adapt teaching to students' individual prerequisites and assessments
• Work formatively and document students' knowledge development
• Collaborate with guardians and other professionals to support the student's learning
• Create a safe and orderly learning environment with high expectations
• This role does not include mentorship duties

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher qualified to teach Spanish for grades 6-9
• Has good subject knowledge and experience teaching in middle school and/or high school
• Works relationally, has clear pedagogical leadership, and can create inclusive learning environments
• Is communicative, team-oriented, and capable of working both independently and in teams

Qualifications

• For this position, we are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach Spanish in grades 6–9. It is an advantage if you also have the qualification to teach English in grades 7–9.
• Previous teaching experience is also an advantage

Conditions for the position:

• The position is a permanent part-time position at 40%, starting August 26, 2017, or as agreed. Edukatus Alliance applies probationary employment as part of the hiring process.
