About the role and your responsibilities

We are looking for pedagogical coordinators for two of our managerial areas, where you, in close collaboration with the unit manager, will drive the pedagogical work forward.

We are looking for you who are driven by inspiring and motivating our users and employees in user-oriented work. You see the capabilities our users have to develop the right support and help, giving our users the opportunity for participation and self-determination.

To succeed in the role, you have good leadership skills, are curious, and listen to both employees and users in daily work. You stay ahead and have a long-term perspective, being flexible in working with different work groups.

The assignment includes, on behalf of the unit manager:

• Responsibility for the development of pedagogy and methodology
• Ensuring and supervising the operation's work with communication support
• Documentation and follow-up
• Supervision and follow-up in the work with social documentation and implementation plans
• Training staff in user-oriented work as well as at user meetings and APT (Individual Plan Meetings).

You will be part of a network with other pedagogical coordinators within Housing LSS. The role also includes collaboration with Region Skåne and other authorities, which means you will work on a broad and significant arena.

The work is primarily scheduled Monday-Friday. Since the operation runs around the clock, evening and weekend work may occasionally need to be planned from a pedagogical perspective, but not on Sundays or public holidays.

About us

The operational area consists of 22 unit managers who are each responsible for 2-3 units. There is one pedagogical coordinator within each managerial area. The work group also consists of support pedagogues and support assistants.

We have both service apartments and group homes where users have varying needs for support such as care, psychiatry, addiction, etc.

Our housing facilities are located throughout the city of Lund as well as in our surrounding villages. One of the positions will be located in Södra Sandby.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably with a behavioral science/pedagogical focus or equivalent higher education that we assess as equivalent.
• Experience of working within LSS (Social Services Act for Support and Service to Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and experience working with autism and IF (Individual Plan).
• Good knowledge and experience of clarifying pedagogy/TEACH.
• Good knowledge and experience of low-affective handling.
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Good knowledge of existing documentation tools.
• Basic skills in digital work tools.
