Do you want to be part of Sweden's largest infrastructure project? We are now looking for a Project Manager for the Vagnhärad project in Ostlänken.

Responsibilities

Ostlänken is a 16-mile double-track railway between Södertälje and Linköping. You will work in the Vagnhärad project, which runs from the southern parts of Södertälje Municipality, through the entire Trosa Municipality, down to Sillekrog.

Your task is to lead a technical area within the contract. This involves steering and monitoring design/production, as well as managing time and cost frameworks. You will ensure that quality, environmental, health and safety requirements are met. Your role covers both design and production. As the responsible party for civil engineering structures and bridges, your duties include, among other things:

• Collaborate with the contractor to develop new, innovative solutions.
• Support the contractor in solving challenges that may arise during the implementation of these solutions.
• Coordinate, inform, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the project's goals.
• Contribute to the monitoring of various activities, both financially and regarding time and quality.
• Act as the client's sub-project manager for design and production regarding civil engineering structures and bridges.
• Steer the implementation of civil engineering and bridge technology in Vagnhärad against budget, schedule, and content.
• Report to the overall responsible party.
• Ensure that permits from authorities, building permits, and similar are applied for and obtained.
• Be responsible for technical monitoring, inspections, and final reports with as-built documentation, as well as ensuring good coordination with other technical areas.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Monitor the contractor's procurement of subcontractors.

You will be managed by a Project Manager for design/production who is already in place and has overall responsibility for production in the Vagnhärad project within Ostlänken. The location is Södertälje. Travel occurs regularly along the entire route.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a university or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 p) with a technical focus in: Building Technology, Construction Technology, Construction, Infrastructure, or Bridge Construction, or another education assessed as equivalent.
• has experience with bridges/civil engineering structures or complex infrastructure projects, or other technically demanding facilities, for at least 5 years.
• has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• has a driver's license for passenger cars.

Meritorious if you:

• have current knowledge of contract law in one or more of the areas AB/ABT/ABK and AMA.
• have knowledge of structural dimensioning and practical experience with: concrete, steel, and interaction between geotechnics and construction.
• have worked with project economics, scheduling, monitoring, and risk management.
• have training in project management (PMP, IPMA, or equivalent certifications).
• have specific experience with bridges or complex structures and coordination between different technical areas.
• have worked as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
• have experience working in collaborative contracting.
• have experience working in turnkey contracting.
