Project Manager to Rindövarvet – where maritime meets future optimism, team spirit, and a touch of welding smoke!

One of our talented project managers has moved on within the company – and we now need a new star for our team. You will be joining us at a time when we are growing rapidly and have our sights set on becoming Sweden's best shipyard for commercial shipping. …enjoy working with technology, people, and structure – preferably all at once. You like when things are happening, take responsibility, and know that order and tidiness are important!

You bring experience (or a strong desire to learn) in the following areas:

Technology: You understand how a ship works. You don't need to be a third-generation skipper – but some knowledge of engines, mechanics, hydraulics, and electricity is good. A degree as a ship's officer or chief engineer is a plus.

Team Leadership: You bring the team along with you, even on a Monday morning in pouring rain. You are clear, present, and build a good atmosphere in the group.

Customer Relations: You can talk business without it feeling stiff. Our customers are professionals – and you need to be their obvious partner from the first conversation to the invoice.

Structure: You have control & the right attitude. For real. You like systems, can plan, and know how to bring projects to completion.

About the role

As a project manager with us, you become a key player in the daily work at the shipyard. You:

• Plan, lead, and follow up on ship projects from order to invoicing.
• Lead our skilled mechanics and technicians.
• Communicate with the customer throughout the entire process.
• Keep track of budget, schedule, quality, and invoicing.
• Collaborate closely with purchasing and production.

You will become part of a project management team of four people who support each other and share both challenges and successes. We work closely, without hierarchy, and with great responsibility.

Rindövarvet works exclusively with commercial shipping – no leisure boats. Our customers include Blidösundsbolaget, Strömma, the Swedish Transport Administration, the Coast Guard, and the Police. We offer holistic solutions within service, conversion, repair, and new production – and always deliver with quality and heart.
