At Combitech in Stockholm, we are looking for Industrialization Engineers for assignments within the defense industry, vehicle development, and other advanced manufacturing industries. Our clients are embarking on exciting development journeys where new products and technical solutions need to be translated into efficient, robust, and scalable production solutions. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with some of Sweden's most technology-intensive operations while developing alongside experienced colleagues in technology, production, and business development.

Your Role as an Industrialization Engineer

As an Industrialization Engineer, you play a key role in the transition from development to production, acting as the link between design, electronics, production, quality, and purchasing. You are responsible for driving the industrialization process from the development phase to series production, ensuring that products can be manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and with high quality.

In this role, you work on the industrialization of new products and product changes, as well as the development and optimization of production flows, processes, and layouts. You also create production documentation and work instructions. You conduct risk analyses and process assurance, such as PFMEA, as well as verification and validation through methods like PPAP, FAT, and SAT. The work also includes capacity analyses, cycle time calculations, and the implementation of production equipment.

You work closely with various functions to ensure that designs and technical solutions are adapted for an efficient and quality-assured manufacturing process. The role may also include the industrialization of electronic products, PCBs, and cabling, as well as the review of electrical schematics and technical documentation. A key part of the job is also driving improvement and efficiency initiatives for our clients. The role offers significant autonomy and good opportunities for further development within production technology, industrialization, or business development.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have a university or civil engineering degree in production technology, mechanical engineering, or a corresponding technical field. You have at least three years of experience in industrialization, production technology, or manufacturing development and are accustomed to driving industrialization work from the development phase to series production.

You have experience with production flows, layouts, work instructions, process development, and production equipment, as well as risk analysis, verification, and validation through examples such as PFMEA, PPAP, FAT, or SAT. You are also accustomed to collaborating with development, production, and quality to create efficient and robust manufacturing processes.

Experience in electronics-related production, PCBs, cabling, or the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics is considered an asset. Experience from the defense industry, automotive industry, or other quality-critical manufacturing is also a plus. Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, automated production, production systems, and IPC standards is considered an asset.

As a person, you are driven, technically curious, and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration with different functions, have a strong focus on improvement, and are motivated by developing efficient and sustainable production solutions. At the same time, you are structured and have the ability to drive work forward even in complex environments.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.

Selection will take place after the application deadline due to summer holidays. We look forward to your application!
