At Combitech in Stockholm, we are looking for Quality Engineers for assignments within the defense industry, vehicle development, and other advanced manufacturing industries. Our clients face high demands for quality, traceability, and continuous improvement, which is why we see an increased need for qualified Quality Engineers who want to contribute to developing tomorrow's products and processes. As a Quality Engineer at Combitech, you will become part of a team with broad technical competence, where you will have the opportunity to develop through varied assignments with some of Sweden's most technology-intensive companies.

Your Role as a Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you work to ensure and develop quality work throughout the entire product lifecycle. You drive improvement initiatives, analyze deviations, and contribute to creating efficient processes that support business goals. In this role, you handle deviation management and conduct root cause analyses to identify underlying causes of problems. You develop, implement, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and are responsible for planning and conducting both internal and external audits. Furthermore, you work with quality monitoring through the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the development and improvement of processes and working methods. You also provide support to production, development, and project activities, and continuously work to develop and ensure compliance with quality management systems and relevant standards.

In addition to operational quality work, you will have the opportunity to be a key advisor in the business and contribute to creating long-term improvements. For the right person, there are good opportunities to gradually take on greater responsibility within quality management, business development, and improvement work. Most of the time, you will work on-site at the customer's location, but depending on the assignment, there is also the possibility to work from our office in Alvik.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have an engineering degree or other relevant technical background and experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry. You feel confident in independently driving quality issues and improvement initiatives and have worked with areas such as deviation management, root cause analyses, and the development and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions. You also have experience with quality management systems, internal and external audits, as well as the analysis and follow-up of quality data and KPIs.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the defense industry, automotive industry, or other regulated operations where requirements for quality, documentation, and traceability are high. If you also have knowledge in areas such as ISO 9001, AS9100, Lean, Six Sigma, or have worked with business development and improvement work, we consider this a plus.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You have the ability to see both details and the big picture and thrive when collaborating with people from different parts of the business. You are communicative and easily build trust, viewing it as a natural part of your work to translate quality requirements into practical and business-relevant solutions. We also believe that you are driven by development and want to influence how future quality work is conducted at our clients.

Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
