Job Description

Within the Service Area Geotechnics, approximately 20 dedicated employees work as technical consultants in geotechnics. We contribute throughout the entire project chain – from preliminary investigations involving sampling and environmental geological statements to advanced design. The tasks range from small rock slopes to complex tunnel geometries in some of Sweden's largest infrastructure projects.

As Service Area Manager, you are responsible for the entire Service Area's operations, including strategies, profitability, marketing, quality, personnel, and competence development. You combine your managerial role with working part-time as a consultant. This is a role with great variety, opportunities for many contacts and customer meetings, and a responsibility to achieve successful and sustainable business outcomes.

The Service Area is divided into two groups, whose group managers, together with you, form the Service Area's management group.

You also sit on the management group for Domestic Region Sweden East, where you are part of the overall market and competence plans as well as the business concept for the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are passionate about team development, satisfied customers, business acumen, and have a strong interest in developing the Service Area's services.

You are clear in your communication style and possess the ability to convey your message effectively. You care that everyone feels well and is seen. You have a coaching leadership style and are driven by seeing employees succeed in achieving their goals.

You hold a university degree or are a civil engineer and have experience as a consultant within geotechnics. You have previous management experience within the consulting industry and have demonstrated good leadership skills, naturally engaging and motivating others.

We expect you to have good social competence and enjoy being challenged both technically and in terms of business and leadership. You have a business drive, are relationship-building, and it is a great advantage if you have an established network in the industry. Naturally, you see yourself as a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge with both customers and colleagues. For this role, we also require that you are fluent in Swedish and English and have ease in expressing yourself both verbally and in writing.
