We are looking for you who want to be employed by AFRY and work primarily with our customers within the defense industry.

The need for expertise in electronics is growing, and we need to expand our team.

Our customers are global players in high-tech defense and security activities, active in air, land, and naval defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. They offer their customers effective solutions for monitoring, security, decision support, as well as threat detection and protection. Technologically, they are leaders in many areas and develop products and systems to deliver military capability, protect national security, and safeguard critical information and infrastructure.

To succeed in this role, it is important to be able to work in a structured manner and follow formal processes, as the development is often safety-critical. You will be a key part of developing the customer's future products. In the role, you will also be involved in other parts of the development process, such as systems engineering, requirements management, testing, and delivery.

Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for you who have experience in one or more of these areas:

• Electronic design
• PCB layout
• Embedded design
• ASIC / FPGA design

Along with an academic education, we expect you to have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Good knowledge of Swedish is an asset. For this position, you must hold Swedish citizenship and be resident in Sweden.

Depending on your specific experience, we look for experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Digital design, but also analog design and RF are of interest, preferably with tools like Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
• IP design and verification
• Signal and power integrity, simulations, EMC, preferably with tools like ADS, SIwave, HFSS, Hyperlynx
• Hardware-near programming
• Requirements management or systems engineering
• Wireless communication, high-speed links, or similar
• Troubleshooting, board bring-up, lab work

Of course, we also place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a consultant, it is important that you work independently and are accustomed to taking initiative. Since many assignments are in collaboration with both customers and colleagues, you should also have good social skills and enjoy working in a team.
