About the Role

You will become part of the Project Controlling department, which consists of twelve employees distributed across three different roles. The role of Cost Estimation Coordinator is broad and varied, and you will work in a dynamic environment where many projects run in parallel. You will join projects at the earliest stages and follow them through the entire execution process until completion. You will contribute your expertise by producing well-founded project cost estimates. You will play a key role in developing cost estimation methodologies, creating an Excel-based cost estimation tool, and establishing processes for reliable price estimates that project managers use for budgeting and costing. Together with colleagues, you will ensure that projects have accurate cost assessments that form the basis for decision-making and variance management.

Examples of tasks:

• Develop estimation methodologies that support business needs
• Update cost templates used by project managers
• Lead and/or participate in development activities
• Provide support in creating post-project evaluations
• Monitor ongoing projects and ensure accurate estimations
• Ad-hoc analyses/tasks

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we see you as an engaged and curious person who is motivated by achieving results. You enjoy taking personal responsibility and have the ability to independently drive the work forward in the parts of the estimation process you are responsible for. Furthermore, we see that you thrive with many contact points and enjoy working in teams.

You thrive in a changing environment where you drive development within your area of responsibility with the ambition to influence and contribute with your competence and personality. You have a business-minded approach and find it easy to switch between a holistic perspective and detailed levels. You also have a pedagogical approach and the ability to communicate methodology and results to different types of recipients, which is important for success in the role.

We would like you to have:

• A degree as an engineer or economist
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Experience with project costing or similar tasks
• Experience in implementing changes in working methods is an advantage
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
