Unit Manager for Strategic Management Support
As Unit Manager for Strategic Management Support within the System Division, you lead a newly formed unit tasked with strengthening and developing a cohesive management of the division's operations. The department and unit were recently established, meaning you will play a key role in setting up structures, working methods, and procedures for the assignment. You are responsible for building up and further developing the operations, as well as gradually staffing and shaping the unit based on identified needs.
The Strategic Management Support unit is one of six units within the System Strategy department in the System Division. It currently consists of approximately 10 employees and is growing. The mandate is to provide strategic and analytical support to the divisional management in planning, prioritization, and follow-up. This also involves creating prerequisites for the efficient and sustainable implementation of the division's mandate by driving the development of the division's management framework and coordinating perspectives in various control models.
In this role, you lead a group of senior specialists with competencies in areas such as business development, architecture, and management. You operate in a complex context with significant importance for societal development, where you actively participate in the department's management work and strategic choices. In close collaboration with the divisional management, the division's departments, and the rest of the operations, you contribute to creating cohesion, direction, and coordination in business development.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the unit's employees, as well as be responsible for competence supply.
- Be responsible for the unit's planning, budget, and follow-up, ensuring a balance between operational delivery and strategic development.
- Lead, plan, and follow up on the unit's work to develop the division's control models and create prerequisites for the efficient and sustainable implementation of the division's mandate.
- Participate in the sub-portfolio council for the sub-portfolio "Exercise System Responsibility for the Power System," which is driven and developed by the unit.
- Ensure coordinated development of the division's control processes in close cooperation with relevant operations, divisional management, and other parts of Svenska kraftnät.
- Contribute to the long-term strategy of the operations, be part of the management group, and represent the unit in steering groups and cross-functional forums.
- Lead change and development work in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
