Do you want to contribute to one of Sweden's major infrastructure projects? Or ensure the need for new roads and railways in Sweden's most infrastructure-dense area? We are looking for someone who wants to work with complex property law issues and varying negotiation situations within projects such as Tvärförbindelse Södertörn, Mälarbanan, Ostlänken, and other road and rail projects, alongside a wonderful team of land negotiators.
ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Land Negotiator, you are a specialist in land access issues within the Swedish Transport Administration's road and rail projects. As a Land Negotiator, you work through all stages of the projects, from planning to the completion of the construction. This, combined with the diverse nature of the projects, means that the work has a broad scope and that the issues vary.
Some examples of tasks you will perform independently and in collaboration with your colleagues:
- Evaluate and negotiate compensation for intrusions and damages
- Draft property law agreements
- Maintain contact with affected property owners, both physically and digitally
- Represent the Swedish Transport Administration in cadastral surveys and other authority contacts
As a Land Negotiator, you are the link between the Swedish Transport Administration and individual landowners, municipalities, authorities, and other stakeholders.

The position may involve work outside office hours and travel.
QualificationsWho are you?
To thrive and succeed in the Land Negotiator role, we expect you to be a communicative person, skilled in both listening and conveying messages in an easily understandable way. Since the role involves extensive contacts, we emphasize the importance of your ability to establish trusting relationships in external collaborations, as well as being flexible and relationship-oriented with your colleagues to contribute to a positive work climate. The tasks include, in addition to teamwork, independent work, which means you have drive and the ability to take your own initiatives. It is also important that you work in a structured and meticulous manner to ensure the quality of your work.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university or higher education degree of at least 180 hp (120 p) in surveying/civil engineering or a law degree with a focus on property law, alternatively another higher education or university degree of at least 180 hp (120 p) combined with work experience we consider equivalent
- A few years of current and relevant work experience in property law issues
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Driver's license for a passenger car
