Job Summary

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will report to the Construction Manager.

You will be part of the project team and ensure that the subcontractor team performs the mechanical work in a timely manner, while keeping the client informed about the construction project's progress.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected

• Ensure the fulfillment of the project's quality and contractual requirements

• Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of works performed by subcontractors or assigned direct-hire personnel

• Supervise the execution of mechanical works and structures, checking that machinery and tools are properly used and maintained

• Verify that works are carried out correctly in accordance with project specifications, highlighting any engineering problems encountered in the field

• Provide quantitative data for producing weekly progress reports and monitor the employed manpower

• Liaise with the Subcontractor Mechanical Supervisor to monitor work progress

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in mechanical activities at an Energy or Manufacturing facility construction/commissioning site

• Swedish C1, English C1

• Ability to interpret drawings; experience with assembly sequences

• Experience with Excel
