The Municipal Executive Office is responsible for supporting operations in finance and quality, HR and communication, digitalization and development, law and security, democracy and administration, contact center and events, as well as growth and business. Together, we support the municipality's operations, handle strategic assignments, and provide service to our residents.

In Skara Municipality, there is a central HR and communications unit. Together, we consist of 13 employees and one manager. Our mission is to create and contribute to a strong employer brand where employees and leaders work together in collaboration. HR coordinates and develops a sustainable personnel policy through advice, support, and process management. We work closely with the operations to guide managers and ensure that HR processes maintain high quality and comply with current laws and agreements. We work together in Skara's City Hall using an activity-based working method. We are now looking for our new colleague! Please submit your application!

The Role Involves

As an HR Partner, you work closely with our managers to support, drive, follow up on, and develop issues across the entire HR area. You are an important part of our dedicated and knowledgeable HR team. Here, we share experiences, ideas, and knowledge to support each other and create the best possible results for the operations.

You will work as an HR Partner directed towards one or several departments. In this role, you will have a clear focus on reducing sick leave and strengthening the organization's wellness factors through a proactive and systematic approach. In addition, you will have a municipality-wide responsibility within a specialist area. Within this area, you will coordinate, manage processes, and provide training. The content of the assignment may change and be shaped based on your competence, experience, and the municipality's needs.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Preferably work experience from qualified personnel work, preferably from municipal operations.
  • Good insight into HR work and the ability to independently drive work in collaboration with others.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and working methods based on the possibilities of digitalization.
  • The ability to communicate and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • It is an advantage if you have previously worked with rehabilitation and health promotion.
