The Health and Care Administration, with approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the departments within Mölndal Municipality. It covers elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and healthcare.
The Finance and Administration Unit consists of 12 dedicated employees with various competencies and experiences. We are a tightly knit team that enjoys working together and helps each other out when needed. Together, we provide qualified support to the entire administration within budget and financial monitoring, reporting, staffing planning, board administration, registry, and archives.

Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for a Controller for the Finance and Administration Unit within the Health and Care Administration. Here, you will have the opportunity to work close to the operations, contribute to development, and help create the conditions for good care and support for the residents of Mölndal.
The position is primarily focused on operations within support for people with disabilities. You will work closely with managers regarding budgets, monitoring, and analysis. The role involves being a support in both strategic and operational financial work.
The responsibilities include, among other things:
- Budgeting, monitoring, and forecasting
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Advisory and support to managers
- Preparation and presentation of financial materials
- Participation in closing accounts and other financial processes
- Development of routines and processes within the financial area
- Contribute with analysis and decision support in change projects
Perhaps you work as a controller today, or you have experience from another qualified financial role and want to take the next step. For us, the most important thing is that you have an interest in the operations, enjoy collaborating, and want to contribute to the development of both the unit and the administration.
There is an opportunity to adapt parts of the role based on your background and experience. For those who have worked in the field for a long time, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility within the work group, while the role for those earlier in their career offers good opportunities to develop within controlling and grow in the assignment with the support of experienced colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a university education in economics or another education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience in qualified financial work and are comfortable working with budgets, monitoring, and analysis. You also have good knowledge of Excel and are used to using the program as a tool for processing financial information. Experience from the public sector is meritorious but not a requirement. The role also requires very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work involves extensive communication with managers, operations, and other support functions.
