Job Description
Do you have practical experience with emissions management, corporate actions, or have you worked in administration within banking or finance? Are you looking for an independent and responsible role in a dynamic, business-oriented environment? To our office in Gothenburg, we are now looking for a careful and experienced administrator who thrives with high responsibility, a fast pace, and a positive attitude.
In this role, you drive the administrative processes related to our emissions and transactions, and additionally handle some invoicing and general office operations. The role is broad and requires you to work in a structured manner and take individual responsibility within clear frameworks, where you are expected to proactively manage and prioritize tasks to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Main responsibilities:
- Emission and share administration (approx. 70%): Handling various types of corporate actions such as rights issues, directed issues, as well as share splits and consolidations. Deliver securities related to emissions. You set timelines, follow up on events, and ensure that all legal and technical documents are in place before, during, and after completed emissions.
- Reporting and compliance: Responsible for transaction reporting to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and conducting ongoing sanctions screening according to current regulations.
- Economy: Invoice handling in dialogue with our accounting firm.
- Office administration: Sharing responsibility for the switchboard, handling mail, shared mailboxes, and ongoing purchases.
To thrive in this role and fit in with us, you need to be careful, non-hierarchical, and have the ability to work independently. To succeed in the role, you are a person with high integrity, strong delivery capability, and a pronounced quality mindset where we place great emphasis on accuracy. We operate in a business-driven environment with a high pace and short decision-making paths, which requires you to be straightforward in communication, receptive to feedback, and comfortable in a business-driven culture. Your good communication skills and social demeanor will come in handy, as you will have many contact points both within and outside the organization in this role. Being a positive and non-hierarchical team player who finds it easy to collaborate with others and help out where needed is taken for granted by you.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience from Euroclear: It is highly meritorious if you have come into contact with Euroclear previously and have an understanding of how these flows and businesses look.
- Background in banking/finance: You have likely worked with securities administration, custody, as a private banker, assistant in banking, or perhaps as a Paralegal.
- Understanding of regulations: Good knowledge of relevant regulations within the financial sector.
- Language requirements: Fluent English in speech and writing, as a large part of the communication takes place via email with international banks, asset managers, and investors.
- The right attitude: A formal university education is not a requirement – your experience, your initiative, and your accuracy are what count.
In this recruitment, Partner Fondkommission collaborates with Randstad Finance. Selection and interviews will take place on an ongoing basis. The position may be filled before the last application date, so apply as soon as possible.
