The Child, Culture and Education Administration is seeking a substitute preschool teacher at Dunderklumpens Preschool in Gäddede

Dunderklumpens Preschool in Gäddede is located in the premises of Frostviksskolan and currently has space for 34 children aged one to five years. Adjacent to the preschool, there is a football field, an ice rink, a swimming pool, a gymnasium, and best of all – the forest.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you work pedagogically together with engaged colleagues in work teams to promote children's learning and development.

The work includes:

• Planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Being responsible for the care of children together with colleagues
• Giving children the opportunity to explore, create, and reflect on new experiences
• Maintaining close and ongoing cooperation with guardians

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher or teacher for earlier years. Experience of working in preschool is an advantage.

We are looking for this person:

• Good empathetic ability and understanding of children's different needs
• Ability to listen, encourage, stimulate, and challenge children's development
• Accustomed to communicating, cooperating, and taking responsibility in daily work
• Creative, engaged, and open to new ways of working
