Responsibilities

Hallens Kyrkskola is a grades 1-9 school with 130 students, where the atmosphere between students and staff is excellent. Our school overlooks Lake Storsjön. We have access to an indoor pool, a small sports hall, beautiful nature with ice rinks and cross-country/motion trails nearby, and we are only 2 miles from Bydalsfjällen. Hallen is located between Åre and Östersund; via the ice road/car ferry, it is 4 miles to Östersund and 6 miles to Åre.

In your role as a teacher, you will work with your team to improve the quality of pedagogical work and participate in development projects together with other teachers. The role includes overall responsibility for the students' social and academic development. You are responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on student learning.

The role includes, in addition to standard tasks such as planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of teaching and goal achievement, regular contact with guardians and students to provide feedback on, among other things, knowledge development and the student's social skills and context.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 1-3.

As a person, you work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you have started, and meet deadlines. You handle stress constructively, maintaining a good mood under pressure and setbacks. You easily empathize with others' situations, listen, understand, and show consideration.
