Previous experience is desired
Do you want to make a difference in children's daily lives?
We are looking for an engaged and confident person who wants to be an important part of our operations. Here, you will meet students in a small school environment where good relationships, job satisfaction, and close collaboration between students and adults are at the center.
Böle Byskola is a stable independent school located in a beautiful natural setting on Annersia, 5 km south of Östersund. The school's profile is Nature and Movement. We have the forest and the lake in our immediate vicinity, and the schoolyard is spacious with a varied selection of activity areas.
Almost all of our slightly over 130 students attend after-school care (fritids) after school. The students are divided into three sections there.
We are looking for you who are warm, receptive, and genuinely interested in supporting children in their development. You have an easy time building trusting relationships and meet each student based on their individual needs and prerequisites.
In the role of student assistant, you work closely with students and educators to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment. You contribute to removing obstacles for learning and support the students in their knowledge development, independence, and social interaction. The goal is for every student to be given the best possible conditions to develop and reach as far as possible based on their prerequisites and the goals of the education.
You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You can communicate clearly and professionally with students, guardians, and colleagues, as well as document when the assignment requires it.
As a person, you are confident in yourself and have a calm and professional approach. You can meet both joy, frustration, and setbacks with patience, stability, and respect. You have good social competence, are team-oriented, and contribute to a positive climate for both students and colleagues.
We would like you to:
- Be a clear and confident adult role model.
- Have an easy time building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
- Have the ability to adapt your interaction based on the student's needs.
- Be able to maintain calm and focus even in challenging situations.
- Have good collaboration skills and a solution-focused approach.
- See each student's opportunities and strengths.
Experience working with children and young people is meritorious.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We read applications as they come in and book interviews on an ongoing basis. Employment can take place before the final application deadline - so do not wait with your application!
