Your new job

You will be part of a team of teachers where you together plan and are responsible for the students' education and development. Your focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others.

In your assignment, it may also become relevant to provide tutoring for some of our students. In your role as a tutor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, through which you get the opportunity to follow their academic development and personal maturity more closely. As a tutor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated about the student's academic development through regular development meetings.

Common tasks

• Plan and conduct teaching according to the curriculum.
• Collaborate with the work team regarding teaching.
• Grade students (possibly in collaboration with subject teachers).
• Document in the operational system.
• Create a good environment for learning.

Your qualifications

• Licensed teacher with subject competence in Math and Science for grades 7-9.
• You have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and can translate these into daily work.
• You have good computer skills, and it is an advantage if you have worked with digital systems aimed at schools.
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience within the school sector.
• It is an advantage if you have previous professional experience.

You who have clear leadership in the classroom and the ability to capture and inspire the group you teach. You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to them in a listening and flexible manner in teaching and the school's daily life. You create good relationships and cooperate well with the contacts that occur in your professional role. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for the position.
