Östersunds Gymnasium is looking for a teacher in Child and Leisure Studies combined with a teaching assistant role, part-time 60%. This is a fixed-term position for the academic year 2026/2027: August 11, 2026, to June 17, 2027.
Östersunds Gymnasium (ÖG) is a smaller upper secondary school with approximately 150 students and 15 staff members. The school is part of the Cedergrenska school group, which operates throughout Sweden. We offer four national programs, including both vocational and university-preparatory tracks. We work closely with our students, and relationship-building is at the heart of our approach.
In your role as a teacher and teaching assistant, your main responsibilities will include teaching two courses in Social Work within the Child and Leisure program, supporting other teachers in working with student groups, and meeting all students based on their individual needs. The role may also involve providing administrative assistance to the lead teacher.
You should be a clear leader who can facilitate learning and development for students. We are looking for someone with experience working in schools and/or with young people, and who has the ability to build strong relationships.
