Job Responsibilities

We have just started a new preschool in Duved and are now looking for dedicated preschool teachers.

Lillskogen Preschool is located centrally in the village of Duved and is an eight-unit preschool with space for approximately 140 children. We have chosen to organize the preschool into four twin units, where each twin works as a large work team and divides into smaller groups during the day. To promote cooperation and development between the twins, we will work with different functions, such as atelier pedagogue, literacy pedagogue, and outdoor pedagogue. We place great emphasis on cooperation and want to create a robust organization that is solution-focused and always has the child's best interests at the center.

Our ambition is for the preschool to be a place that both children and adults look forward to. We value that you have a clear and secure self-leadership and that you take responsibility for leading the education and teaching in the children's group together with your colleagues throughout the day. The preschools in Duved have also taken a stand for a project-based working method where our offers and meeting places are linked together in processes. We adults listen to what the children express and their interests, and build meaningful content together with them based on the curriculum's core values, mission, goals, and guidelines. We use curiosity questions/deepening questions to create a red thread in what we offer the children throughout the day.

With us, you get stimulating and developmental work with and for the children. You get both individual and joint time for systematic quality work, and together with your work team, you lead planning, documentation, reflection, as well as analyze and follow up on your joint work. Your responsibilities also include actively participating in workplace meetings, area meetings, and meetings with guardians.

Qualifications

• You are a licensed preschool teacher or have applied for licensure as a preschool teacher.

As a person, you work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what has been started, and meet deadlines. You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through a non-hierarchical focus on the common goal. You keep up to date within your profession and area of expertise and scan for trends.

Employment Type

Permanent position.

The position is vacant subject to no surplus, need for reassignment, or priority existing in the municipality. An extract from the criminal record register must be submitted before the position can be taken. Probationary employment may be applied.
