At Aspås School, there are approximately 100 students in grades Pre-K to 6, of whom 60 children are enrolled in the recreation center. We work in close collaboration at the school to create holistic solutions for the students. The work is based on the student's opportunity for development and learning throughout the day. The school is located close to nature with a rich outdoor environment. We place great importance on work regarding safety and well-being, where values-based work is highly prioritized. Recreation center and school development are a large part of the school's joint work to achieve better knowledge results.

The Child and Education Administration has approximately 800 employees. The administration's operations extend across the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school Pre-K-9, adapted primary school, recreation center, catering and facility maintenance, mother tongue instruction, and library services.

A day as a recreation center teacher at Aspås School

The position is part of the Pre-K-6 work team, where recreation center and class teachers collaborate and share joint responsibility for the students throughout the day. The main task in the work is at the recreation center, and potentially teaching physical education (grades 1-3) at the school if you have the qualifications for it. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical activities at the recreation center together with your colleagues. You are also responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating physical education if it becomes relevant.

Teaching and stimulating students based on municipal and national goals is the main task in the work. Inspiring, motivating, and awakening curiosity in students to seek the knowledge they need themselves is another important part of the work, as is supporting students in their personal development.

Other important tasks in the teaching profession are to identify development needs and drive the development of operations towards established goals, and to contribute to the development of the entire school. There are great opportunities for you to use your knowledge and experience to further develop the operations' working methods together with your colleagues.

Your qualifications

You have teacher education and certification with qualifications in recreation center (fritidshem).

You are well acquainted with the recreation center's and school's governing documents and can translate them into daily work.

Merits:

• If you are also qualified in Physical Education and Health.
• If you have experience working with "Frippar" as a pedagogical document for planning, implementation, and development.
• If you have experience with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) secure teaching.
