Lugnviksskolan is a two-parallel F-9 school (grades 1-9) with approximately 490 students. Our school is an inspiring workplace where we put the student at the center. About the position
As a special needs teacher in mathematics with us, you will become a key person in our work with support measures for students. You will work closely with students and teachers to identify, prevent, and remove obstacles for all students' learning in mathematics, as well as to make support measures and adaptations concrete in the classroom.
In the role, you will among other things:
- Plan, implement, and, in consultation with the special needs educator, follow up on special support in mathematics for students, both individually and in small groups.
- Map students' mathematical abilities in a structured way, develop pedagogical adaptations, and contribute materials to pedagogical investigations.
- Mentor and support teachers in their work to develop mathematics teaching.
- Collaborate with other special needs teachers, special needs educators, and the school's student health personnel.
- Hold dialogue with guardians to create a holistic view of the student's learning.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is confident in their role and enjoys working both independently and with others.
We want you to have:
- Special needs teacher certification with a focus on mathematics development (required)
- Documented knowledge and experience of teaching mathematics across different grades in primary school (required)
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to implement them in daily practice
- Good computer skills and experience with digital learning environments
