Häggenås School is a grades F-6 school with approximately 100 students and an associated after-school center. We are close to nature and outdoor recreation. At Häggenås School, we work in mixed-age groups and, wherever possible, utilize a two-teacher system. This means that two class teachers share responsibility for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching, with the goal of providing all students with the guidance and stimulation they need to develop as far as possible in accordance with the educational goals.

As a teacher, you view the student's entire school day as important and therefore collaborate with both guardians and colleagues regarding the student. The school's and after-school center's operations collaborate to achieve higher goal fulfillment and create the best conditions for each student's pedagogical and social development.

You will be part of a team characterized by good cooperation skills, flexibility, and joy in work. There are great opportunities for you to use your knowledge and experience to further develop the organization's working methods together with your colleagues. You will be an important part of the work group and, together with students and colleagues, create conditions for learning and knowledge dissemination. You will also be involved in our overarching school development processes.

We need to strengthen the school's team with a teacher for grades 4-6 starting from the autumn term 2026. We are therefore looking for you who want to join a small community where relationships are prioritized and decision-making paths are short.

Your Qualifications

You have a teaching license and are qualified to teach in grades 4-6. We are looking for you who have a clear and strong leadership presence in the classroom, as well as the ability to capture and inspire the group you teach based on the students' needs.

• You have a strong interest in developing teaching and supporting students in their learning process.
• Your view of students aligns with the value foundations of the curriculum.
• You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and can translate them into daily work.
• You have a good ability to build good relationships and are clear and structured in your work.
• You have a great interest in pedagogical challenges and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues to think about development.
