Duved School, inaugurated in 2022, is a modern wooden building with proximity to forests, mountains, and water. Approximately 570 students in grades Pre-School Class to 9 attend here, and the school has around 80 employees. Teacher qualifications are high, and students achieve good academic results.

Our vision is to create a school environment where good relationships are at the center. Through safety and peace of mind, students get the best possible conditions to develop – both academically and socially.

The school has a clear mountain profile with a focus on:

DUTIES

Do you want to inspire young people to creativity and the joy of making in a unique mountain environment? Here, you will work in well-equipped craft rooms together with engaged colleagues.

As a craft teacher at Duved School, you will become an important part of a work team where you together drive education forward and develop operations. You plan and conduct craft education for grades 3–9 and get the opportunity to work variedly with different age groups and within textile or wood and metal crafts.

You follow the students' development, spark their curiosity, and strengthen their confidence in their own abilities. Through your work, you contribute to creating a safe, creative, and developmental learning environment where every student gets the opportunity to succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are passionate about crafts, learning, and making a difference in students' daily lives.

You are preferably a certified teacher with qualifications in crafts, but this is not a requirement. If you instead have a strong craft background, a genuine interest in teaching, and the ability to familiarize yourself with the school's mission and governing documents, we see this as equally valuable.

You are confident in your craft and have the ability to inspire students to creativity and making. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
