DUTIES
We are now looking for a teacher in Swedish as a Second Language (SvA) for grades F-9 at Gällö School, starting from the autumn term 2026:
The job involves collaboration with other staff. Together, you are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment where you provide students with the support and encouragement they need for their learning and continued development.
To work within the school and childcare unit's operations, you are required to submit an extract from the Swedish Crime Register (§ 22) upon employment. You request this extract yourself from the National Police Board in Kiruna. It is valid for one year and must be renewed thereafter.
Recruitment is ongoing, so employment of qualified teachers may take place before the application period ends.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a teacher's degree and a teaching license.

You should have the ability to inspire and lead students, and see yourself as important for students' success. You have high expectations of students and can help and guide them so that they develop based on their prerequisites. You have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and work according to a well-founded value base, clearly showing students which goals they should work towards. Building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is important to you. You have a positive outlook on work and develop the operations with new methods and approaches together with your work team.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months.
Start date: Autumn term 2026.
End date: 2026-12-31.
