Hovs Skola is a preschool–grade 6 school located in stunning nature in Alsen, west of Krokom. The school has approximately 35 students, and we work closely together as a collegium. There is close cooperation with Nälden School and the student health team.

The Child and Education Administration has approximately 800 employees. The administration's operations cover the entire municipality and include preschool, compulsory school grades F–9, adapted compulsory school, after-school centers, catering and facility maintenance, mother tongue instruction, and library services.

A day as a teacher at Hovs Skola

As a teacher at Hovs Skola, you work in close collaboration with colleagues and the student health team. Your days consist of varied work where student well-being and knowledge development go hand in hand. The school and after-school center actively work on school development to create a holistic operation. To create good conditions for further development, part of the development work is done together with Nälden School, which also has two lead teachers.

Your qualifications

For the position of teacher in grades 4–6, you must be a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach in grades 4–6.

You must also have the following competencies:

• Good collaborative skills and an inclusive approach to work.
• The ability to see the school's work team as a resource working together.
• An empathetic ability to understand students' needs and meet them where they are, as well as the ability to listen, encourage, stimulate, and challenge them to further development.

Other information

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2027-08-10, or as agreed.
