WORK ASSIGNMENTS

In the role of Special Teacher/Special Pedagogue, you work towards the student, the teacher, and the organization. This involves collaboration with other special teachers, colleagues in both the leisure center and the primary school, as well as the student health team. As a Special Teacher/Special Pedagogue, you are responsible for helping to coordinate and support the ongoing work for the student who is in need of special support and extra adjustments. You supervise staff and provide ongoing counseling regarding individual students as well as groups, and you develop the operations. You analyze and develop teaching according to our systematic quality work plan and assist with investigations when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a special teacher degree or a special pedagogue degree.

You should have the ability to inspire and lead students and see yourself as important for the students' development based on their prerequisites. You have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and work according to a well-anchored value base, clearly showing students the goals they should work towards. Creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues is important to you.

You have a positive view of the work and develop the operations with new methods and working approaches together with your work teams. You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships. You work according to a clear process, complete what has been started, and meet deadlines. You are secure in uncertain situations, stand up for your own opinions, have the courage to speak out, and have the ability to distinguish between matters and persons.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: Start 2026-08-11 or by agreement. The position is a 100% permanent position if you can show certification. If you do not have the required eligibility, the employment will be time-limited according to the School Act.

To work within the school and childcare unit's operations, you are required to submit an extract from the Criminal Record Register § 22. You request this extract yourself from the National Police Board in Kiruna. It is valid for one year and must be renewed thereafter.

We apply individual and differentiated salary setting.
