Litsongan Preschool is looking for a Preschool Teacher. Litsongan Preschool is located in Klösta, approximately 2 kilometers outside the village center of Lits. The preschool is run as a parent cooperative, with the association's board as the main authority. We have close collaboration between staff, guardians, and the board, with the children's best interests at the forefront.

Litsongan has two departments with age-homogeneous groups (1–3 years and 3–6 years) with close collaboration between the departments. We work based on the idea that all children are everyone's children, and we strive for a work climate characterized by community, flexibility, and care. We help each other across departments and professional groups to create the best conditions for both children and colleagues.

The preschool is housed in a charming old school building with large, pleasant rooms and generous spaces for play and learning. The preschool is located in a nature-rich environment where outdoor activities are a natural part of every day.

The work is based on a holistic view of children and children's needs, where care, development, and learning form a whole. We are now looking for a preschool teacher who has a co-researching approach and wants to help create exploratory, supportive, and developmental teaching for the children at our preschool. We are looking for a colleague who, together with other educators, wants to shape an operation where children are allowed to discover and learn in thoughtful environments, where systematic quality work is the red thread to highlight children's learning with the aim of creating a high-quality preschool.

The preschool has a kitchen where our own cook prepares all our meals daily from scratch using raw ingredients. We see the meal as a natural and important part of our operations, with the idea that food should be tasty, nutritious, and appealing.

A Day as a Preschool Teacher at Litsongan

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and developing education in accordance with Lpfö 18. You work together with colleagues to create a secure, stimulating, and educational environment where every child has the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites. The operation is designed so that learning and teaching are adapted and varied according to the children's interests, prerequisites, and needs.

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning learning processes based on the preschool's steering documents and, using a formative approach, you implement, follow up, and evaluate the teaching.

You will be part of a work team consisting of childcare workers, a cook, and the principal, contributing to the continued development of the operations.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who:

• Have a preschool teacher license
• Have good insight into the preschool's steering documents and curriculum
• Are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills
• Want to contribute to a positive work climate and close collaboration in the work team
• Have experience in low-affective and individualized work
• Have digital competence

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in a preschool
• Experience with or knowledge of TAKK (Signs as Support for Speech and Communication)
• Interest in developing accessibility in learning environments
• Experience with systematic quality work
