We are now looking for a qualified preschool teacher who wants to become part of our nature-based activity in Östersund.

About Knallhatten

Knallhatten is a well-established I Ur och Skur preschool that has been operating since 1992. At our center, nature is an important part of the children's learning, development, and joy of discovery. We are outdoors every day all year round and actively work with the Swedish Association for Outdoor Education's pedagogy through activities such as Mulle and Knytte programs, excursions, outdoor lunches over an open fire, and ski school during the winter.

We are a small preschool with 27 children, a stable organization, good finances, and low staff turnover. Here you will meet dedicated colleagues, present guardians, and a secure children's group where everyone knows everyone.

As a parent cooperative, the activity is run without profit motive – all focus is on creating the best possible daily life for the children.

About the position

As a qualified preschool teacher with us, you have an important role as a pedagogical leader in the activity. You are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on teaching in accordance with the curriculum's goals and intentions.

You lead and develop the pedagogical work together with colleagues and actively contribute to turning our visions and values into practice every day.

The role includes among other things:

• Responsibility for the pedagogical content and teaching.
• Driving and developing systematic quality work.
• Documenting, following up, and analyzing children's development and learning.
• Responsibility for development talks and pedagogical documentation.
• Contributing to good norms and secure interaction in the children's group.
• Introducing and orienting new children together with the principal.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues and guardians.
• Planning and conducting excursions and activities in natural environments.
• Contributing to the continued development and quality of the activity.

We are looking for you who are confident in your professional role, enjoy taking initiative, and want to influence the activity together with dedicated colleagues and parents.

About the employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment with an initial probation period of 6 months.

Start date: August 2026 or by agreement.

Salary: Market-based salary by agreement.
