Jämtland Upper Secondary School Association is responsible for upper secondary schools, adapted upper secondary schools, and parts of adult education in our member municipalities. The association's eight schools are located in nature- and mountain-rich environments spread across six municipalities – Berg, Bräcke, Krokom, Ragunda, Åre, and Östersund.

Jämtland Upper Secondary School and Vux Bräcke are located in the central town of Bräcke. Here we offer vocational technical programs as well as adult education, and we train tomorrow's professional machine operators on our sought-after driving range in Bröckling. Bräcke is located midway between Östersund and Sundsvall, which you can easily reach by train.

Do you want to help shape the future for our students? Here, you have the opportunity to make a difference every day. We are looking for an engaged SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) teacher who wants to contribute to developing our operations with the student's learning at the center. Our goal is clear: to give our students the best conditions to take the next step – into working life or further studies.

The position is a fixed-term appointment with the possibility of extension, at 80%, starting August 10, 2026, or as agreed.

Your future responsibilities

As an SFI teacher with us, you teach adult students Swedish for immigrants and become an important part of an engaged work team. Together, you create teaching that inspires, challenges, and develops. In this role, you will:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching according to current regulatory documents.
• Motivate and support students towards good academic results.
• Work closely with colleagues through joint planning and joint assessment.
• Contribute to a creative and developmental working climate.
• Use digital tools as part of the teaching.

Who are you?

You have a teacher's degree with qualifications to teach Swedish as a second language. We are looking for you who are passionate about learning and see every student's potential. You thrive in a flexible environment and like to vary your working methods. You are confident in using digital tools in your teaching. You are structured, flexible, relationship-building, and have an easy time collaborating.
