Description

Jämtlands Gymnasium Wargentin is looking for a certified teacher in mathematics and natural sciences. The position also includes support teaching in 'Studion', where students with action plans are offered education in a calm and adapted learning environment based on their needs.

Your future responsibilities

You will be part of the work team on the Sales and Service Programme and work closely with subject colleagues in mathematics and other programme subjects. The position includes teaching mathematics and natural sciences on the programme.

A large part of the assignment during the upcoming academic year will consist of support teaching in mathematics in Studion, where you will support students in need of extra adjustments and special support in a calm and structured learning environment. You will work to strengthen the students' knowledge development, study skills, and goal achievement.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are qualified and certified as an upper secondary teacher in mathematics. For a permanent position, a teaching license with eligibility to teach at the upper secondary level is required.

You are an engaged educator who builds good relationships with students and has the ability to adapt teaching based on different needs and conditions. You work in a structured manner, have clear leadership in the classroom, and contribute to creating a safe and positive learning environment where students are given the best possible conditions to succeed.
