Child, Culture and Education Administration, Frostviksskolan in Gäddede seeks primary school teacher

Frostviksskolan in Gäddede is seeking a primary school teacher for a combined position in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language (grades 4-9) and English (grades 4-6).

The Frostviken principal's area is located in the northwestern, mountainous part of Strömsund Municipality. From Gäddede, it is 13.5 miles to the municipality's largest town, Strömsund. Frostviksskolan has approximately 60 students and 18 employees. The school consists of two units, one with a leisure center and the other with grades F-9.

Job Responsibilities

You will be a homeroom teacher responsible for a class. The work involves independently and together with the work team planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work. Values-based work is naturally integrated into teaching and school life.

As a teacher at our school, you are expected to collaborate actively to create a sense of "we" where staff, students, and guardians feel a shared responsibility for the school's environment, well-being, and development. Cooperation with parents and collaboration with other staff is an important part of the job.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications for the position.

• Have experience teaching in primary school.
• Take responsibility for leadership in the classroom.
• Have a relational approach and see each student's unique needs.
• Are flexible, team-oriented, and solution-focused.
• Have basic IT competence.
