Do you want to combine qualified accounting, business-oriented financial management, and international contacts? We are now looking for a Senior Accountant for our client, to join an international team working with accounting, reporting, and advisory services for companies operating across multiple markets. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients as an extended CFO support, while contributing to their development through digitalization, automation, and modern working methods.
About the Opportunity
In the role of Senior Accountant, you will become part of a highly experienced team working with accounting, reporting, closing, and advisory services for international companies active on the Swedish market. In this role, you will act as the lead advisor for a number of international clients, functioning as an extended CFO support. You will become a strategic partner to the clients, responsible for ensuring high quality in delivery while driving development, efficiency, and improvement in their financial functions. The work spans from ongoing reporting and closing to structure, governance, and change management. The work is carried out in close collaboration with client management, international parent companies, and colleagues within a global network. The role thus involves a wide variety of qualified accounting issues, and duties include among other things:
- Ongoing accounting and reporting for international clients
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Preparation of annual reports according to K2, K3, and IFRS
- Reporting to parent companies and international groups
- Client contact and advisory services within the accounting field
- Collaboration with colleagues in audit, tax, VAT, and payroll
- Participation in system implementations and process development
- Work in modern business systems such as Xledger, Netsuite, and SAP
The role offers an exciting combination of operational accounting, client dialogue, and international issues in an environment where you have the opportunity to continue developing together with highly competent colleagues.
Is this you?
We are looking for you who have at least 5 years of experience or more within accounting and who wish to continue developing in an international and business-oriented environment. We believe you have:
- An academic education in economics or accounting
- Several years of experience with qualified accounting and closing work from an accounting firm or consultancy.
- Experience with international companies or group structures
- Good understanding of K2, K3, and preferably IFRS
- Very good skills in Swedish and English
- Good system proficiency and interest in digital solutions
It is meritorious if you have worked in systems such as Xledger, Netsuite, SAP, or similar business systems. As a person, you are curious, business-minded, and solution-oriented. You thrive with client contact, take responsibility for your deliveries, and find it easy to get into new operations and processes. Furthermore, you are flexible, non-hierarchical, and appreciate working in teams where knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life.
About Our Client
Our client is an advisory-driven accounting firm that works closely with its clients as an integrated part of their financial function. They combine qualified accounting with business-oriented advisory services and have a clear focus on building efficient, scalable financial functions and driving development through structure, digitalization, and smart working methods. Many of the clients are international companies with operations in Sweden, which means you will work in complex and varied environments with a strong focus on quality, reporting, and cross-border communication. Here you work together with experienced colleagues in a culture characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a genuine commitment to creating value for clients.
The culture is family-like, non-hierarchical, and ambitious, with a clear ambition to be at the forefront of modern financial management and digital development. At the same time, good development opportunities, close client relationships, and the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally are offered. The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Stockholm with the possibility of hybrid work a few days a week. Initially, a probation period applies.
