Your new role
Do you want to contribute to the development of internal control, risk management, and regulatory compliance in an organization where governance, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus? We are now looking for an experienced GRC Specialist who wants to take a central role in further developing internal control work and contributing to a strong control environment.
In this role, you will work closely with the business to identify, analyze, and manage risks, as well as ensure that processes and controls are effective and efficient. You will also be a key person in the implementation of a new GRC system and support the organization through the change journey.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Identifying and analyzing risks in business processes and supporting process owners in risk assessments and control development.
- Planning and conducting tests of key controls and evaluating the design and effectiveness of controls.
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting results from self-assessments and control tests.
- Providing advice and support regarding action management related to control deficiencies, incidents, and observations.
- Following up on action plans and contributing to continuous improvements in internal control and risk management.
- Driving the implementation of a new GRC system and supporting the business in implementation and usage.

To succeed in this role, you need
- A relevant academic degree in economics, finance, law, or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience working in internal control, audit, or a similar field.
- Experience in risk management, control evaluation, and follow-up of action plans.
- A good understanding of internal control, and preferably experience with IT general controls.
- Very good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- It is meritorious if you have experience with COSO, SOX, process modeling, GRC systems, or system implementations.
- As a person, you are analytical, structured, and pedagogical, with a strong ability to build trust and establish good collaborations within the business.
