Are you a structured finance professional with a passion for the Nordic market? A world-leading, family-owned international manufacturing and distribution company is looking for an autonomous Accounting & Administration Specialist to join their regional team in the Stockholm area.

The Role
As the Accounting & Administration Specialist, you will play a key role in managing financial operations, payroll, and administration across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. You will work closely with the regional Managing Director and collaborate with the global Finance team at the international headquarters.
Work tasks
- Finance & Accounting: Oversee GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and tax (VAT and CIT returns) within an international framework.
- Reporting & Analysis: Lead month-end closing, prepare yearly budgets/quarterly forecasts, and provide variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Payroll Management: Manage the full payroll process and coordinate with pension providers alongside external partners.
- HR & Admin: Support the Managing Director with administrative tasks, expense processes, and holiday scheduling.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with auditors, banks, and global HQ while identifying cost-optimization initiatives.
We are looking for
- Experience: Around 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting and finance, with a solid understanding of the full accounting cycle.
- Regional Knowledge: Experience working with Nordic regulatory requirements (specifically Finland, Norway, and/or Denmark).
- Languages: Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language.
- Mindset: An autonomous and proactive mindset—you take initiative and enjoy ownership.
- Skills: Great organizational skills and a structured way of working.
Meritorious:
- Experience working with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
