About the Role

Do you want to be part of developing internal control and risk management in a business where governance, regulatory compliance, and operational benefit are high on the agenda? In this role, you will hold a central position in planning, executing, and following up on internal control work, while simultaneously supporting the business in creating clear processes, relevant controls, and a more proactive working method.

You manage the internal control framework and work closely with process and control owners to strengthen the quality of risk assessments, control environments, and follow-ups. The role also involves significant responsibility in the transition to a new GRC system, where you will help drive implementation, change, and anchoring within the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to combine analysis, improvement work, and close business collaboration in a role with clear impact.

Responsibilities
  • You identify and analyze risks in business processes and support process owners in assessing new risks and developing the control environment.
  • You plan and conduct efficiency tests of key controls and provide advice regarding scope, design, and execution.
  • You analyze, compile, and report results from self-assessments and conducted tests.
  • You guide process and control owners in handling control deficiencies, observations, and incidents, and follow up on action plans.
  • You drive the implementation of a new GRC system and support the business and employees in the transition to new ways of working.
  • You contribute to developing and documenting processes, risks, and controls in a way that creates clarity and long-term quality.
Requirements
  • You have a relevant academic degree in economics, finance, or law.
  • You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role, for example within internal control or auditing.
  • You have a good understanding of internal control and preferably also IT general controls.
  • You have practical experience in designing plans for monitoring controls, their design, and evaluating the efficiency of control execution.
  • You have experience identifying and handling operational risks, risk indicators, and action plans.
  • You have a strong interest in developing and improving the quality of processes.
  • You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and experience with internal control frameworks such as COSO and SOX.
  • Experience modeling and documenting processes in some type of EA tool.
  • Experience driving or participating in projects and system implementations.
