The Swedish Schools Inspectorate has a major and important societal mandate: we work to ensure that all children and young people receive a secure and equitable education. We achieve this, among other things, by inspecting the quality of all schools in Sweden and processing applications to operate independent schools. The Swedish Schools Inspectorate has offices in Gothenburg, Linköping, Lund, Stockholm, and Umeå.
The Swedish Schools Inspectorate also serves as the host authority for the Administrative Court of Appeal for the School System, a quasi-judicial authority tasked with reviewing decisions within the school system. The Secretariat for the Administrative Court of Appeal for the School System is one of five units within the Division for Operational Support and Law at the Inspectorate's headquarters in Stockholm. The Secretariat's primary responsibility is to process the Court's cases. The Secretariat consists of a Chief Executive, a Coordinator, approximately thirteen lawyers, and two permanent administrators. We are currently seeking a junior lawyer who wishes to work with this important societal mandate for a limited period. Are you the one we are looking for?
