We are looking for an experienced GRC Specialist who wants to contribute to the further development of internal control, risk management, and regulatory compliance. You will become an important part of the operations and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of processes, working methods, and governance models in an organization where collaboration and business development are in focus.

In this role, you are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on activities related to internal control. You manage and further develop the internal control framework and support the business in mapping, documenting, and improving processes, risks, and controls. You will also play a central role in implementing new working methods and the transition to a new GRC system.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and assess risks in the organization's processes, and support process owners in developing and strengthening the control environment.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal governance documents.

• Plan and execute tests of key controls, providing recommendations on the design, scope, and effectiveness of the controls.

• Compile, analyze, and report results from self-assessments and control tests.

• Support process and control owners in managing identified deficiencies, incidents, and observations, as well as following up on decided actions.

• Be responsible for the implementation of a new GRC system and act as a support for the business during the implementation phase.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics, finance, law, or equivalent.

• At least five years of experience from work in internal control, audit, or a similar field.

• Good understanding of internal control and preferably experience with IT general controls.

• Experience in designing control plans, assessing control design, and evaluating the effectiveness of controls.

• Documented experience in risk management, operational risks, and the creation of action plans.

• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with different parts of the organization.

Merits

• Experience with frameworks such as COSO and SOX.

• Experience with process modeling and documentation in EA tools or similar systems.

• Experience in project management or participation in system implementations.
